In response to a surge in monthly active users from around the world, TFH has begun rolling out a new World App update that allows users to customize their experience with multiple languages and local currencies.
Starting in November, World App will be available in Catalan, English, French, Hindi, Portuguese (PT), and Spanish (LatAm and ES). Chinese (Simplified), Japanese and Korean are slated to quickly follow before the end of the year.
In addition to these languages, users will be able to choose the currency used to track their self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet inside World App to one of the following:
- The Argentine peso ($)
- The Brazilian real (R$)
- The Chilean peso ($)
- The euro (€)
- The Indian rupee (₹)
- The Japanese yen (¥)
- The Kenyan shilling (KES)
- The Korean won (₩)
- The Mexican peso ($)
- The Singapore dollar ($)
- The US dollar ($)
Monthly active World App users double globally
The localization update comes as World App usage continues to increase around the world. According to TFH data, the app has over 4 million total downloads and 22 million transactions. Monthly active users have also doubled over the past six months to over 1 million.
To put these numbers into perspective, World App would currently rank as the 6th most popular hot wallet in the world according to CoinGecko—less than six months after its launch earlier this year

Recent updates have enabled World App to become more efficient, as well. In September, the TFH contributor team released an update that bundles transactions to make the World App wallet significantly more scalable and cost efficient. Following the update, World App saw its highest ever single day transaction volume at more than 500K transactions.
